Located near the North polar rim, this structure is fascinating for a number of reasons. From the front part of the platform located at the mouth of what may have been a river, to the last support visible in the frame of this image, you are looking at a structure that spans a distance greater than 1.6 miles (2.6 km).
Although we can only guess as to what its purpose was, the fact that it is placed over what appears to have been a river gives us a clue that it may be a bridge. A bridge in disrepair, but still a bridge.
Also of interest are the dark spots on the "bridge." Although the entire narrow-angle image covers more than 57 square miles (92.55 square km), the only place where you see the small dark spots is on the bridge.
In order to give you a better idea of where this "bridge" is located, I've included the context image where you can see the entire river and the small part which was imaged by the narrow-angle camera (indicated by the white frame). The image is map-projected meaning that it has been rotated so that North is up.
