Cases:
Thurgood Marshall tried more than 100 cases in his  lifetime. Thurgood Marshall won his first case with Charles Houston. He won twenty nine cases in a row for Supreme court in 1940. Cases he won were Thompson vs. Brown that took place in 1983. Another case  he won was Smith vs. Allwright case in 1944 which over throwed the South's "white primary." One very important case that made a significance in blacks lives was the Board of Education of Topeka that ended segregation in all public schools in !954.

Thurgood Marshall was the first African American to ever serve the Supreme Court in 1967 and continued serving the court until 1991. He won twenty nine Supreme court cases in a row in 1940. He was nominated for second Supreme court judge by J.F.K. He also made a huge difference in the NACCP with education and Defense. By doing all of these accomplishments he greatly affected the Civil Rights movement. Thurgood Marshall won the first Civil Rights Movement case. He was active in the NAACP and he stopped segregation in public schools.
