Easterlings once where good people. Some choose to travel to the West. But those who stayed soon fell into darkness because of the Dark Lord Melkor. There where known for their treachery. They look like dwarves: short, bearded, and bold legged. They weild two handled axes. They faught in many battles, and on the Pelennor Fields in the War of the Ring. When the Ring was destroyed, the evil power holding them was broken. They sued for peace from the King of Gondor. They where granted it and peace followed for many years after.
