Thank you for your interest in Marshmeadow Farm.  We have been raising quality LaManchas in western New York since 1974.  In fact, we had some of the very first LaManchas in the state. Consistency and excellence of production and type is our aim.  We want animals from our breeding to be an asset in other herds, as well as our own.

Our show string has garnered many awards for our farm on a national and international level.  We have been the Premier Breeder and Exhibitor of LaManchas at the New York State Fair every year since 1994.  In 1997 we were the Premier Breeder of Show at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  In 1998 we were named the Premier LaMancha Breeder at the Eastern States Exposition in Springfield, Massachusetts.  Also in 1998,
GCH Marshmeadow Diamond N Disguise was selected as the Eastern Canadian National Grand Champion,  and "Diamond" and her daughter, GCH Marshmeadow Diamond Faux Pas, were the winners of the Canada Cup (Best Dam & Daughter).  In 1999, GCH Walnut-Acres Etamine Elegance was chosen as the LaMancha Grand Champion and GCH Marshmeadow F. Gaucherie Hussy was named the Reserve Grand Champion at the Eastern Canadian National Show.   "Faux Pas" and her daughter, "Gaucherie Hussy", were  the 1999 winners of the Canada Cup.

In spite of exhibiting at a limited number of shows in 2001, our senior herdsire,
GCH Marshmeadow Far-Out Figment won the coveted award and title of Best Buck in New York State!  Also, GCH Marshmeadow Diamond Faux Pas was selected as the Grand Champion LaMancha and
GCH Marshmeadow BJ Kukumber Sprise was selected as the Reserve Grand Champion at the 2001 New York State Fair.

During the 2002 show season, Marshmeadow does were Grand Champion five times and Best of Breed six times.  Two of our goats finished their permanent championships, and we put championship legs on two others.  Our yearling milker, (another "Faux Pas" daughter) Marshmeadow F Oopsy Phony, was the Reserve Grand Champion at the New York State Fair, thus continuing the winning ways of Marshmeadow Farm LaManchas.

We are extremely proud of our goats and their accomplishments.  It is this
consistency of excellence for several generations that is our goal.  If you are looking to the future, and you desire consistency and excellence of production and type......
