| A computer "melt-down" in 1995 destroyed all of our show records on "Caress". We have dredged the archives ( a very messy filing cabinet ) in hopes of locating the hard copies of these records; but unfortunately, we have come up empty handed. We did locate the above photo of her, and as luck would have it, it had a legible date on the back. "Caress" has not been in the show ring for a good number of years, but she was exceptional when she was. She is a healthy and powerful doe and is still capable of producing quality offspring. In fact her last babies were born September 7, 2002 when she was eleven years old, and she had no problems delivering the kids! Both the buck and the doe will remain here at the farm. We even bred her back again for a 2003 freshening. |
