Mythology


In Roman mythology, Mars was the God of War, Aggression, and Conflict; and he was the Patron God of Rome.  He was the son of Jupiter and Juno, and the father of Romulus and Remus (founders of Rome) and Harmonia.  His favorite animals were the vulture and wolf, though his eblem was a spear and torch.  He is also known by as Ares (Greek).
