I know that when I say this, I am speaking for all the real Backstreet Fans out there. We are SO proud of you! Words can not describe the amount of respect and love we have for you. Of course we respected and loved you before but now, that respect and that love has tripled, if not more. Just looking at you makes us feel happy and proud.
We, the fans, want to thank you for being honest with us. Not lying about this and being open with us really shows us how much you care about your fans. We also want to thank you for realizing your problems and deciding for yourself that you want to get help. Thank you for realizing that so we can have Alexander backs. With that, thank you for bringing back Alex. Even though AJ was much fun, he caused you a lot of trouble and we don't want you in anymore trouble. Thank you for bringing Alex back. We missed him alot. Thank you for being such an amazing role model for us. Some people think that you aren't that great of a role model but I care to differ. I look up to you like no other artist out there. There is nobody that I respect as much as I do you. Nobody. The courage you had to come up to your brothers and say "Guys, I need some help" is courage that not everybody has. And the courage you had to look your problem in the face and say "Fuck off!" is unbelievable. Not even the guys who say they have a lot of courage has that. Those guys couldn't probably come to terms with themselves with anything and treat themselves. You are probably the most manly, bravest man I've seen so far. I can't imagine anybody else who could top you.
I know that you are going to use your experience in rehab to help many people. I know that already, you have touched thousands upon thousands upon thousands of lives. I also know that you probably saved lives as well. Many people look up to you as an artist and when they see you, they feel better. They know that finally, someone knows what they feel and what they are going through. We know that after your time in rehab, you and the Boys will come out on top and show the world that nothing will tear you guys apart. You guys will become stronger and closer that you guys ever had. We all know Backstreet is Back and you are here to stay!
So Alex, this letter doesn't even show half of how I feel. Again, words can not express the amount of love and respect I have for you. Just remember, WE, the fans, love you so much and we will be with your guys through thick and thin! Think about all the love and respect you are getting. That's a lot and you know it. So please, keep Alex here and let's keep the Backstreet Boys here to stay. Show the world that the Backstreet Boys are forever!
