The next important element in writing is forming paragraphs. Paragraphs are chunks of a longer text. Every paragraph carries only one thought/ idea/ argument/etc. The first sentence of a paragraph is called topic sentence and it always introduces the 'theme' of the paragraph. The last sentence is linking sentence, which links thoughts from the present paragraph to the next one.
