It is extremely important to plan your text structure. You need to know exactly what material you need/have, what is the purpose of your writing and who are readers.
After initial data collecting and contents planning, you need to state your thesis or an argument (not always required). Then you have to plan what are you going to say in all parts of the text - Introduction, Body and Conclusion.
Remember - all parts of the text have to be linked together. This is called cohesion and it makes text coherent and well presented. |
