Ms. Barnes:

"I have been working with enamels over 16 years. The brilliant colors of the enamels and their reflections with various light conditions continue to fascinate me. I can only wish that viewers of my work find the play of color and light to be as intriguing as I do. Many of my works use the desert of New Mexico (USA) as a color basis with rich earth tones accented by brilliant colors so often seen in the landscapes of the Southwest of America."
