| Food and eating establishments chuddy - chewing gum AUS & NZ I was late this morning when my shoe got temporarily stuck to the pavement. All I could imagine was you involuntary chomping the 'chuddy' and spitting it on the ground. The important thing was that I was thinking about you..right? (negative thoughts you want to say to someone + the punchline e.g: I was thinking about you out dancing until 4am, it made me very angry. The important thing was that I was thinking about you..right? [championship - champagne - chunky] hash slingers - waiters/waitresses US We went to a restaurant last-night. The 'hash slingers' were always going somewhere and never seemed to be waiting. When it came the main course was tasty. Non-the-less we left with a bad taste in our mouths. a) We left a far too large tip. b) We upset one of the 'hash slingers' I daren't think what extras he put in the dessert c) We didn't have enough cash to pay the bill. I had to leave the other half as a deposit. [municipal - murky - mythical] pogey bait - sweets US y dream is to have a bath in a bathtub full of psychedelic coloured 'pogey bait' and then eat them all straight afterwards. y nightmare is getting so huge that c) I get stuck in the bath and miss my dinner. a) I won't be able to get to the sweet shop b) I get stuck in the bath and the water goes cold [posh - pointless - premium] pound and pint - food UK I ate so much of that 'pound and pint' last night I had nightmares about waiters serving carrots the size of trees, people exploding, ball shaped people bouncing down the street. a) Let's go back again tonight! b) I must go back and get those recipes. c) That was before I went to bed. [poverty - power - pricey] za - pizza US I've always wondered why 'za' is always made round shaped. Why can't we have square or triangular or even football shaped za? a) Someone out there must know! b) Doesn't anyone out there care? c) I don't really care what shape it is, I just want to know why so many people like to eat it.
