Just one week after he'd landed his first part--that of William Powell's son in Life With Father--Martin Milner contracted polio and didn't work for a year. His doctor advised golf, and the day he started was the day John Wayne took to the links as well. John offered a part in Sands of Iwo Jima and Martin's career was off again. In '52 he went into the Army for 2 years, returned to do TV and pics. In '57 Martin married singer-actress Judith Jones and a year later was the father of a daughter, Amy. This past January another daughter, Molly, was born. The family usually travels with Martin wherever Route 66 takes him. He'll be 30 this December 28th, is 6' tall, has red hair, freckles, hazel eyes, weighs 175 lbs.
