"Get up at 3.45 - fetch newspapers on way to work, get in about 5.15 - start to have a look at papers, get ready for show at 6. On air til 10, if I'm doing Big Toe as well I'll get a train down to London, start work for Big Toe at 1.30 - on air at 4 til 6. Getv train home, get in about 8, go to bed. If no Big Toe, sort out show for following day, make sure everything is OK, music, news, sport, station wise for Mansfield. Attempt to leave at 2pm - then do whatever I feel like!"
Any ambitions left?
"Yes!! I want to do more national radio & host my own TV show. I'd also like to swim with dolphins & win an award."
Biggest influence in your life?
"My folks - My Mum for her way of never taking any nonsense from anyone, My dad for his sheer determindness, my sister for making me less wooly & my Gran for saying the first thing that comes into her head!"
Best advice that you've been given and why?
"You can't please all the people all the time - look at Posh Spice" - because you can't & you can kill yourself trying to get everyone to like you."
Any hobbies or special interests?
"I love films, football & tennis."
Any advice for those who want to get started in radio?
"Never give up, if you don't give it a go then you'll always wonder if you could have made it. There's plenty of places around to get started & don't be afraid to work for nothing!"
