Well, after a little longer than planned, I am here in Lima, and getting accustomed to the culture and climate. I arrived on Monday 27th, having had a smooth journey, and am being very well looked after by Elmer and Kathryn Rojas in Chaclacayo. I would be very grateful for your prayers for my aclimatisation and time of orientation in Lima. I will be doing language classes, and will shortly find out what level of Spanish classes I need to take. Please also pray for guidance as I visit a couple of churches in Lima, and it's decided which church I will be placed at for my time of orientation. I'm hoping to be involved in youth and discipleship work at a church in one of the pueblos 'jovenes' (shanty towns). I am also greatly looking forward to meeting all the members of the Peruvian team and having the opportunity to visit their different areas of work. Thank you very much for you prayers!
