Lifestyle…
I enjoy cooking, gardening, seeing friends and family, reading, exercising and going to shows or theater. It will be very important for me to cook fresh and healthy meals for my child and to have him or her tasting Mommy’s world renowned pies. I live in a very quiet and pleasant neighborhood in North Carolina, with parks all around and Lake Norman very close by. I look forward for long walks in the parks, spending time at the library exploring the vast world to be found in books, and going to the pool to play in the water and teach him or her how to swim.

I spend holidays with family and friends, visiting them where they live (USA, Canada, France, England, Italy) , spending time at the family cottage, on the French side of the Atlantic Ocean, or hosting them in Charlotte. In the future, I plan a big trip to Asia – I dream of sharing a house with friends and family, on a beach in Thailand and playing in the blue water with my child and cousins, and then going for a ride on an elephant!

  Family and Extended Family…
I love my family and my close friends, who I call my extended family. They are so important to me and we have a very close and supportive relationship. My parents are very energetically enjoying their retirement. Besides golfing, gardening and traveling, they spend time with their 4 daughters and their families (3 nieces). My parents can’t wait to have an additional grandchild to visit and take to Disneyworld and other exciting places. I have been blessed to be surrounded by love and care, not only with my family, but also with my friends. We get together many times a year for many types of events and in many different places. I especially love spending time with my “nieces and nephews.” I am Auntie Martine for both my sister’s daughters and my friend’s children, who now range from 15 months to 23 years!

Job & Education…
I am the Chief Legal Officer for a major international company. I graduated from both Mc Gill University (Canada) and Paris University (France). I currently manage a team of over 20 lawyers worldwide. I love my job and the many opportunities it has given me, but mostly, the investment of my efforts over the years will now allow me to focus all my resources on providing a wonderfully stable and rich environment for my child. Since my career allows the flexibility, when my child arrives, I plan to take 3 months leave of absence.
