Because of my need to work alone, I was surprised that my next best learning style was interpersonal.  Although I work best alone, I suppose I do like to share ideas with others and I am very social.

On the other hand, I was surprised that learning through nature was so far down on the list--I love nature!  I miss the days at Marlboro Elementary when all our classes were taught outside.  Fresh air has a very good effect on me--in the spring I have to go running every day or I go insane.  So, I'm afraid I'm going to have to disagree with the test in that part.

So how can you, Mr. Perrin, help me learn more efficiently?  Because of my "independent" working style, I'm not really a fan of a lot of textbook work.  Although I like to read, textbooks bore me and I have a difficult time learning from them.  As I writer, it's also difficult for me, because I end up spending more time critiquing the writing than learning from it.  Working outside always helps me, especially in science classes.  It puts the things I learn in context.  However, I understand that it's more difficult to put chemistry in the context of nature than say, biology.  Music is a great learning tool for me--not so much musical learning like in the Death Star Lab, but musical learning in the sense of writing songs for school projects and such.  For example, in my french class last year, we were learning vocabulary for travel, and instead of making a travel brochure like everyone else did, I wrote a song about French travel and performed it on the guitar for my class.  Currently, I'm writing and recording a song about the Haymarket Riot for my social studies class.  Because I'm a linguistic learner, writing papers is a GREAT way for me to learn.  Given the choice between making, say, an art project, or a research paper, I always choose the paper.  Writing comes naturally to me and it truly helps me understand concepts.  One of my favorite parts of Biology last year was writing the paper for my Capstone on Celiac Disease (which I suffer from, as a matter of fact.)  I like hands on work also, and labs are very beneficial to me.  I love writing up labs, too.  However, as an independent learner, I find it difficult sometimes to work with other people, but I understand that that is necessary.  I love class discussions, too.

Probably the best way you can help me learn is by actively encouraging me, and encouraging  is learning in general.
