Starting with a frame and suspension from Rod-N-Racin in Belleville,IL, then adding a body, bed, hood etc from Strands Componets (AKA Zipper Motors), Marty & Lea Schuler have made an excellent Streetable 1927 pickup.
With help from friends and relatives Marty added a 4.3 V6 Chevy motor and a Turbo Hydromatic 350 Transmission, hooking that to a Ford 8" rearend with a 3.00:1 gears. Marty drives his 1927 pickup as much as he can.
Adding a great flamed paint job by John Wargo from The Custom Shop in Flanagan,IL, and excellent stich work by Lonnie and Kent at Twin City Upholstery in Bloomington,IL. Marty and Lea have collected many awards with their truck. Along with the many awards that they have collected Marty and Lea are members of the NTBA Association.
With many thanks to all who have helped..
