	History: Not much has been revealed about the early life and origin of the mutant known as Copycat. Her true name is believed to Vanessa Geraldine Carlysle, and she became a successful prostitute by exploiting her mutant powers. At one point, she met and befriended the mercenary Wade Wilson (Later, Deadpool) and the two developed a romantic relationship. When Deadpool broke up with her, Vanessa was able to parley her powers to create a criminal career for herself. More recently, Vanessa was blackmailed by the villain Genesis (In his guise as the arms dealer, Mr. Tolliver) to impersonate the mutant Domino in order that she may join Genesis' archenemy Cable in the original team of X-Force. Vanessa was brainwashed to believe herself to be the true Domino and to blend in so seamlessly as to avoid detection from Cable's telepathic abilities. Eventually, however, X-Force discovered the truth and confronted Vanessa. She had come to respect Cable and the team and helped them raid "Tolliver's" base to free the real Domino who had been his captive since the beginning of X-Force. Vanessa and the others battled Deadpool, but she escaped before the final battle. Vanessa was later targeted by Domino and Cable's former team, the Six Pack, who believed she could help them to track X-Force down. Vanessa helped them but declined to become involved. She similarly turned down Deadpool when he offered to renew their relationship after they encountered each other during a hunt for "Tolliver's" will. Deadpool saved her life from an attack by the villain Slayback, but Vanessa revealed that she had found a new boyfriend in Garrison Kane, the latest mutant to be code-named Weapon X. Vanessa and Weapon X helped Cable and Domino in a fight against the Psycho Man, after which Vanessa and Domino reconciled their differences from when Vanessa had impersonated her. Under unrevealed circumstances, Vanessa broke up with Kane, and began to hold bitter feelings for Deadpool. She accepted an assassination assignment to kill Deadpool on behalf of the villains Wizard and Taskmaster who wanted revenge for past snubs. In order to get close to him without his knowledge, Vanessa posed as the villain Titania to become the roommate of Deadpoolt and the Constrictor. Her disguise was eventually uncovered when the three became involved by a plot of the Black Panther's enemy, Achebe, who wanted to kidnap the Panther's pet panther. Vanessa was forced to escape capture of the heroes Avengers by shape-changing. Vanessa then confronted Deadpool, who knew of her infiltration all along. After a struggle, Vanessa accepted the code for Achebe's money accounts in lieu of the assassination fee and escaped under cover of an explosion. Vanessa quickly reappeared, dating Deadpool in the guise of five different girls at the same time. Later Deadpool discovered that she had been 'enhanced' by the weapon X project, and was currently being hunted down. He was orriginally hired to do the killing but found himself still loving her and not able to.  To keep her from harm he took her to the zoo and placed her in a gorilla cage, in hopes that her shapeshifting would fool Sabertooth and Agent Kane.  While Deadpool was fighting Kane, Sabertooth tracked Vanessa down and slaughtered her.  Deadpool found her under a note written in her own blood saying, "Sabertooth was here." Powers: She is an extremely powerful, and accurate, metamoph. Her powers allow her to take on any physical form she wants, and her power may be so great as to copy psi-patterns as well
