Scenario Name: Demon Tag
# of Players: 2 or More
The Infinity Challenge has pitted Heroes and Villians from across the multiverses against each other. But aside from those that live in the mortal worlds, the Infinity Challenge has brought forth creatures that dwell in the non-physical realms as well. As the battles rage on a bodiless Demon from the deepest pits has stepped on to the battlefield hungry to find a permanent vessel within which to make its new home.
This Scenario can be played on any map, and with any size Force the Players wish. Play follows all the Standard Rules (pg. 5-22), with the addition of the noncorporeal Demon that threatens the Players. The Demon will enter and leave Characters randomly. Entering sometimes when a Character is wounded, and being drivin out sometimes as the same happens again.
When the Scenario starts all Characters are free from the Demon. Whenever a Character takes damage the Player who controls them must roll 1d6, if the result is equal to or less then the number of clicks of damage the Character took, then they are possessed by the Demon (ie. a Character takes 4 clicks of damage, if the Player rolls a 4 or less on the 1d6 the Character is posessed). Battle Fury does not protect against possession. If a Player Pushes one of his/her own Characters, therefore taking damage (or causes any other form of self-inflicted damage, such as using Mind Control, a Critical Miss, etc.), they do not have to make a check to see if the Character has become Possessed, but if a Character becomes Pushed due to Incapacitate, Mind Control, or other such Super Power, they must make a check to see if they have become possessed. While a Character is possessed no other Character can become possessed. Whenever a possessed Character takes damage the controlling Player makes the same 1d6 check as above. This time if the number is equal to or less then the damage taken the Demon is drivin from the Character. If the Character is freed from possession, the cycle then begins again where checks are made everytime a Character takes damage in order to see if they have become possessed. If the possessed Character is KO'd by an attack the Demon is defeated (Note: Damage is taken before the check is made, so if the Character is KO'd no roll is made to see if the Demon sucessfully flees.).
Whenever a Character is possessed it becomes controlled by the Player who attacked the Character and caused the possession (similar to Mind Control). That Player then treats the possessed Character as a member of thier Force (the Player may opt to give an Action to the possessed Character immediatly. Actions givin to the possessed Character count against the total number of Actions that Player gets per Turn. That is if the Players get 4 Actions per Turn then giving an Action to the possessed Character counts as 1 of those 4), until the Demon is drivin out thereby returning control of the Character to the original Player. Also while possessed the original Player may attack thier former Force member as they are now (at least temporarily) part of an Opposing Force. Possessed Characters can not be Pushed, nor can they be Mind Controlled (as they are in effect already being Mind Controlled). While possessed a Character gains +1 Click to any damage they cause (this works in conjunction with any Super Powers used), if the possessed Character does not make an attack they heal 1 Clicks worth of damage to themselves (the Character still heals even if they take a Move Action).
*Victory Conditions* The Scenario ends whenever the Demon is defeated, or when any Player loses all of thier Force. Also the Players can use a 1 hour time limit if they so desire. Scoring is as per Standard Rules (pg. 22-23).
