Strategy:
There was once a time when i would have set the Capcom headquarters ablaze for putting some of these Darkstalker characters in this game before Jon Talbain (BB Hood being one of them too) but, I've come to like Anakaris, despite his unorthadox, but tru to Darkstalkers style. I finally got the hang of the "Mummy's curse" super move. Most of his normal moves are pretty easy to do. It's almost Tekken like. He's as effective as a keep away character as he is at getting in and laying the smackdown face to face, as his combo style takes full advantage of the combo system. (The veterans of Capcom's past masterpieces should know what I mean) Most effective of all his super moves is the "Cobra" special, but I just love pulling out the giant special. The Cobra blow is very effective when in the air, because of the speed of the attack, a normal opponent will never see it comming especially with that air dash.

Best assist: Ground (Cobra blow)

While battling a large opponent: Technically, Anakaris is a big guy, he's slower than Juggernaut, but his moves are quick (coffin drop), try menuvering away so you won't get hit too much, he's got throwing range like Omega Red, but his attacks are fast enough to be on the attack.

While battling a small opponent:
Definitely avoid getting into combos but try jumping in attacks then avoid when being overwhealmed, if they jump then you have the advantage, Coffin drop would definitly help you out, if they don't jump then you start it off, you have good attack from air so try not to begin most of your combos on the ground.

When battling an average opponent: Once you get hit, it's easy to get set-up in a combo, so take caution with Anakaris, he's definity outmatched by speed, if you wanna sneak in hits, you HAVE to dash. If they keep a distance with projectiles, remember you can reach them with your coffin drop and throw, and with the range of your specials, you can take advantage of an opponent who's on the retreat.
