One of the most overlooked characters in the game unless you're just into, stay back and throw projectiles. (I frown upon thee) He doesn't have too many moves, but with the demon spawns he's so talented at raising, it's not a bad deal. Basically, Blackheart almost has to depend on assists to get by. His moves are mainly close range, but his ability to combo leaves a great deal to be desired.
Best assist: Anti-air (Inferno)
While battling a large opponent: Well you don't have a lot of moves but luckily you don't need moves to win if you're fighting against some big ol' slow mofo so, let's get started. Try not to get too close, if they go in the air use projectiles, if you hit them and they block, get some extra block damage by hittin them with a low projectile, keep at a somewhat far distance and keep using ground attacks. Your 'Inferno' attack comes in handy when there's a big slow target chasing you.
While battling a small opponent: They're quick, but you're strong, get your demons on em, if they get too close you may be in trouble because your attacks are slow, otherwise stick to dash attacks then evade. Your 'Dark lightning' attack should only be used when you have a jumping opponent, so don't blindly use it cause it's easy to catch Blackheart with specials.
While battling an average opponent: Try not to do too much air attacks but if you want to hit them you gotta get close, if they jump around too much you gotta be able to time their landings with projectiles or you're in serious trouble.. |
