Strategy:
  Poor Cap, Although he's not completely out of the picture as a top contender, he's lost it. For one thing, his double jump air combo actually takes less damage than just doing it the old fashioned way. It aint fair, and to top it off, his Shield slash has lost a significant amount of speed since Marvel Superheroes. He can only combo into one of his specials, otherwise you're pretty dependant on assists to access his other specials without it getting blocked then countered. He's still just as quick on his feet as he's ever been. For being a WWII hero I wonder why he can beat a whole platoon but when it comes to fighting lil robots and stuff, he seems to be outmatched. (I like the Marvel Superheroes version of Cap better) Most Important about Cap, Don't Lose the Shield! You lose defense, your attack is weakened, and your block sucks.

Best assist: Dash (Charging star)

While battling a large opponent: Cap's got quick moves, but like Wolverine, he's lost some damage. You gotta try to get those extra hits cause with cap, every hit counts, you need to do your best to get any possible hits off. Try getting quick hits then adding 'Charging star' or 'Stars N' stripes' hits. Cap is one of the larger characters so you can be thrown easier then the average player.

While battling a small opponent: You got enough footspeed to go toe-to-toe with even the quickest guy, keep moving at all times but try not to do too much air attacks cause Caps not a good fighter in air.

While battling an average opponent: With enought speed you can really get your competition on the defence the whole game, you just can't be foolish and blindly attack. Avoid doing the same moves, you only wanna do moves when it's finishing a combo. Keep your game semi-close, cause he's got an advantage with the speed of his attacks, but you gotta avoid gettin thrown all game.
