Watch out for that tentacle! Omega Red is one of the more underrated characters in the game, and he's got madd game. For some reason, those tentacles just seem to come out of nowhere at you. The Omega Strike can be used not only for offense, it can get you outta trouble or set up to cause major damage to your opponent's helper. He's kinda slow, but most of his moves, you don't see coming. Plus he's got an OK keep away game, with a nice damage count to boot. When you get someone with your tentacle, the punch buttons are Energy drain, and the kick buttons are the Death factor. You can even motion the joystick with any kick to throw them, and pressing D+P twice will Double slam them.
Best Assist: Throw (Carbonadium coil)
While battling a large opponent: You're a slow guy, but this is where you shine. They're about the same speed as you, but they're easier to catch with your tentacles, just keep a good distance on the big guys cause they got serious damage with their specials. Feel free to jump around when they don't have any specials, and avoid corners.
While battling a small opponent: You gotta keep it kinda far, but you want them within your reach. Constantly attack and throw your tentacles around, if you catch the small guys just Death factor and/or throw em. You don't want them close and you gotta avoid the air as much as possible.
While battling an average opponent: You gotta attack constantly, jumping can give you the advantage or leave you open for an attack so don't do it often. Keep your range kinda close and avoid corners.
