So it was in the beginning, so shall it be at the end. The word of God declares this. What exactly does this mean? Check out the study below and I think you’ll find out. History will repeat itself. Start at around Genesis Chapter 11 and go backwards to Chapter 2 and you’ll see the events of the last days played out. Read below to see what I mean.

Genesis 11:8-9 God gave the people different languages when they tried to build the tower of Babel, and this was the representation for the starting of the many nations of the world.

Genesis 9 God talks about the covenant that he was making with the earth. The rainbow was God’s promise back in that day to never destroy all human kind. The rainbow signifies God’s new promise of salvation to once again, save, and not destroy. The rainbow represents salvation through trust in Jesus Christ.

Genesis 8 The dove is sent forth from the ark. This represents the coming of the Holy Spirit in Acts Chapter two.

Genesis 6 God sees that the people are getting more and more wicked. (Where we are currently at in history.)

Genesis 5 Enoch is raptured into the presence of God. Enoch represents the church of Jesus Christ. This rapture of Enoch represents the rapture of the glorious church, without spot or wrinkle. Enoch was seven generations from the beginning of time, or when God walked with His people in the garden. IN the same way, the rapture of the church is seven years from the time of the end, where Jesus Christ will walk with His people, on earth, once again.

Genesis 4:16 Cain left for the mountains to settle, hiding from anyone who might try to kill him. IN the same way, Jewish believers will do the same in the last days. They will hide and settle in the mountains to try to escape from the wicked.

Genesis 4:15 God put a mark, or seal on Cain so that no one could lay even a hand on him. In the same way, God will put a seal on the 144,000 that are mentioned in the book of revelation.

Genesis 4:15 God promises to put punishment on anyone trying to come after Cain seven times that of which God punished Cain, which simply represents the seven years of punishment, or tribulation that those opposed to the gospel will endure.

Genesis 4:8 Cain killed Able, which represents the martyrdom that new believers in the tribulation period must endure. Also, note here that in verse number three through five it is revealed that God was displeased with Cain’s sacrifice, while He was pleased with Able’s. Able was also a SHEPARD. This furthermore proves that IN THESE verses Cain is represented as the ’pagan’ while Able, the shepard, is represented as a follower of Christ.

Genesis 3 The Lord God walks through the garden with His people, Adam and Eve, just as it will be at the end of the tribulation when Christ returns to earth with His bride.
