Well, first off I want to apologize for yesterday's Diary entry.  I started off so awake and motivated and then I was snoring away at the keyboard.  So if it seemed a little lacking, now you understand why.

I hate my job.  I really, really hate it.  It's not so much that it is a hard job, but it is a VERY boring job.  I need something that will challenge me.  I need something where I am not required to wear a uniform.  I need something that allows me to use my brain.  I need a job where I don't have to keep a constant eye out for "dog logs" and where I don't have to drive to the nearest bathroom.  I need a job where I am inside and I don't have to trudge through the snow.

I guess what I am saying is that I hate my job... A LOT!!!
Poet's Corner
02/03/01
Alright, I have decided that for this edition of the Poet's Corner I would include all of my drunken  poems from Denny's on Saturday night.  Now remember, I was somewhat wasted when I wrote these on the napkin at Denny's so don't be too critical.
Scattered

scattered
across the floor
in pieces

wonder
what happened
to the time
we had once before
Diner

twang twing
twing bang
this is my night's amusement

next to me sits
my life's discontent

the world i thought i knew
is not

and once was
once before
not again
never can be
Drunken Thoughts

read into my soul
find nothing
life empty

wonder
what was what
who was who
why was why

as the night wears on
and my patience thinner
OK I saw this movie a few weeks back called Mr. T & the Women.  It SUCKED!!  Do NOT rent this film!  I didn't even finish it.  We ended up turning it off half-way through it because it was so God-awful.

Although, I would recommend befriending someone at your local video store though.  This comes in handy when you rent movies and forget to take them back on time.  hehe
