Alien Love Child

Chord progression (yes, this IS a guitar)
  Am F C G
---------------------
-1---------5----3----
------2---------4----
-2---------5---------
-0----3----3---------
------1---------3----

Each chord is three tracks of harmonized guitar that have been looped backward,
faded in and out, chorused, reverbed, and flanged with a slight double-time pulse.

Distorted rhythm
bash away at these with a straight 16th note pulse. Add a bit of chorus, and
you're there. I was going for a bit of a Linkin Park tone, for all you mainstream
types out there. ;o)

  A5 F5 G5 G5

-2-------------------
-2----3----5----5----
-0----3----5----5----
------1----3----3----

Other melody
This is actually three tracks of harmonized guitar- one playing the lower harmony,
and two playing the upper. I accidentally left two different takes unmuted during one
playback, and thought it sounded so sweet that i had to keep it.

-12------15p13h15-15b---15br-12--------------------
-13--13--15p13h15-15b---15br-13--13--12h13--13p12--
-----14--------------------------14--12h14--14p12--
---------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------

-----------12------15p13h15-15b--15brp13--
-------12--13--13--15p13h15-15b--15brp13--
-12h14-12------14-------------------------
-12h14------------------------------------

-15p13-12--------------------
-15p13-12---12---12h13~------
------------12---12h14~------
-----------------------------

And the little squeaky thing before the distortion kicks in:

-(13)b15--
----------
----------
----------
----------
----------

This was actually a pre-bend and release, looped backwards with a reverse delay and a normal reverb put on top. fun stuff. :o)

the scratches in the beginning are just me brushing my hands across the strings, and then delaying bits and peices of them. Enjoy. :o)
