The Selbyville Fire Department blocked the roads at 6:30am and set up a square pool of water in the middle of the road to get ready to set an old farm house ablaze.
Fire Fire Burning Bright.......
The firemen had gone in the house to spread an inflamant. Then starting from upstairs, they had started the fire, with a flare, upstairs. The smoke started billowing from the chimney and the vent hole in the roof that the firemen had cut into the roof.
Within minutes, the flames were peaking out of the roof.
As the fire was consuming the house, the firemen had the fire under control with sprays of water around the house.
The only thing that remains of the 110 year old farm house are two chimneys and old memories.
