(Actually, I love cats!)

My father used to say that  he and my mother were doing their best to raise five deprived children. If this were true I would have to say that they failed miserably .

I count it a privilege to have been born the fourth child out of five to a missionary couple in Japan. To have been taught from an early age to live a Godly life, and to have learned common knowledge by grazing my knees.

I also count it a privilege to have been able to attend the local Japanese elementary and junior high schools, and now  to study at a Russian University in Japan. I also look forward to learning many things as I set out on my own. But most of all, I thank God for the privilege to be called His child.

My favorite colors are...
                Blues and greens...

I grew up on all the old classics...   Shakespeare, Charlie Chaplin,  Audrey Hepburn, Ben Hur, The
, and of course all the old musicals like Singing in the Rain and Fiddler on the Roof.

Classical music is my favorite, but I sometimes listen to the Beatles and Oldies with my sisters.

My hobby is Gardening…
Unfortunately I have no garden at present and must content myself with a spider plant and some ivy.

At present I'm studying Russian at the Hakodate, Japan branch of the Far Eastern State University in Vladivostok.
The program includes one month at the main campus in Vladivostok, Russia.
