TESTING

A mans life consists not
in how much he doeth possess
But whether he stands or falls
When he's put to the test.

Every mans' work
 Will be tried by fire
To see if he's measured
to maturity thus far.

So let us stand in the midst
of the flame.
We'll see if it's true hat
we're made of the same.

Fire will not burn
what's made of itself
Wood, hay and stubble gone
Fire is all that's left.

The tempter came to Jesus
looking for 'self'
Found nothing of Adam
just Spirit was left.

Lord help us to endure
Tribulations and trials
And when it is all over
Still be able to smile!

The treasures of God are hid in the earth
A man must discover them, to see his worth.
I'll ask and I'll seek, till each treasure I find
That will change this car
nal to the Christ Mind.
