Anti-War Protest, Dublin

As we were all completely against this pointless war that the USA started, we went to all the protests in Dublin.

Top-end of O'Connell Street.

This was the protest on 29 March 2003. There was quite a turn-out!

There was this guy playing guitar, I felt like I was in the 60's at the anti-Vietnam demo!

The church next to the writer's museum where some ppl held speeches.

More ppl came and w more signs...

We met a lot of ppl from the Iomega account there and this is Maxime, obviously v active against Bush. Way to go Maxime!

This boy was obviously against the war as well, he was standing there 4eva and I think every1 took photos of him!

Some ppl really made an effort to look anti-war. This guy was marching like this... Later he took the mask off as it was really way too warm...

This guy was drumming all the way up to some government building we marched to. He was actually quite good and even kind of posed when he saw the camera. Hihihi!

Of course the French were very well represented there and when Emilie saw the flag, she just had to get in the pic w it! Vive la France! ;o)

Geez, I wonder who they meant by this... In the background, right underneath the USA-flagged bomb you can see Jude who was handing out leaflets.

There were some more speeches and some ppl stayed to listen to them while others left. A lot of ppl had made some really cool signs and posters and stuff as you can see here. Someone had even made a "death" doll...

Andrea was a bit tired, still being jet-lagged and all. But she was there anyway, demonstratively and proudly holding her anti-war sign.
