Autobiography
My name is Mary Dinh Chi Lu-Nelke.  I was born on July 17, 1979 in Macau, China.  I came to the U.S. when I was nearly two and was raised in Oakland, California.  I'm an alumni for U.C.Berkeley's Mentorship Program and for Summer Search, a non-profit organization that helps students succeed in high school and throughout their education to give them the opportunity of a lifetime to study abroad programs (offered by American Field Service/AFS). I'm a graduate from Milton Shoong Chinese School and Oakland High School, class 1998. I also had two months of French Education in Montreal, Quebec (CANADA), "L'ecole Lajeunesse," and lived in with two very special French people in my life, Lise Bussieres, and Daniel Trahan. Master Wong Yu Chang was my Sifu master in Tai Chi and I enjoyed being a Choreographer for three years. I became a Food Service Administrative Clerk while service in the U.S.Army for three years, continuing college education on-line, and seeking many opportunities to build my own designer business someday. My interests are in the Arts: music, dance, drama, sketching, cooking, poetry, Tai Chi, traveling, and decorating. I am also into family issues, cultural activities, foreign languages, and continuing education. I came from a family of six children and am happily married to an Arkansan (Calibrator), German descent, Ted Nelke.
