DIMPLES IN OUR LIFE
© By Mary Lois Bierman 12/10/1998

My husband, Jack, has been putting up plexiglas around the porch. From this side it looks good, and keeps the cold wind off the porch, and does the job it was put up for. When we go outside and stand where the light shines on it, at a certain place on several sheets, is a place about as big as a big hand. Jack says it is a bubble, but it looks like a dimple, but it is a blemish.

I lay there last night thinking about it. How in our life from the inside we see everything going fine, and just great. Then The Heavenly Father shines His light on us, and we see these imperfections here and there. Now Jack can leave those sheets of plexiglas up, and it will do the job just fine. Whether it will weaken the plexiglas or not when strong winds come and them break I do not know. I do know it is not as strong as it would have been without them.

Our Heavenly Father sees us with our imperfections, and He can still use us to do a righteous work. The whole sheet of plexiglas would have to be replace, but unlike it, our Father can take out the spots of weakness in us. He can through His Spirit remake us in into His own image, into His likeness, and not throw us away and start all over with another body.
