ARE WE LIKE SHEEP?

So many times it is easy to be just like a sheep, and go right over the cliff!

John 10:1.. I say unto you, He that enters not by the door into the sheep fold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

verse2.. But he that enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

verse 3.. To him the porter opens; and the sheep hears his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name, and he leads them out.

A sheep will not recognize anyone but its own shepherd, everyday they will go and touch him. Also they will only drink still water. A sheep will keep eating, not looking up and will grass right off a cliff! Then the shepherd has to use the crook of the staff to pull him up. He also used the staff to chase off the prey.

verse 4.. And when he pus forth his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him; for they know his voice.

verse 5.. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him; for they know not the voice of strangers.

We are told in Deut. not to inquire into the way others worship

verse 7 ... I am the door of the sheep.

verse 9.. I am the door; by me if anyone enters in, they shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

verse 10.. The thief comes not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I am come that they might have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

verse 11 I am the good shepherd the good shepherd and the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep.

verse 15.. And the Father knows me, even as I know of the Father, and I lay down my life for the sheep.

Many people with a heart to obey is getting their eyes off of the very one that is their salvation, that has left the written word for us to read as well as has anointed us with the Spirit that we can read it and understand, and are looking to a Church or what ever to show them the way. When they do they walk right off the cliff.

We are to be instruments of righteousness and be there for each other to encourage, pray for sing songs with and worship Him together. He is the teacher. He is the Rabonni, the highest in the rabbi order there was.
