My fascination with parrots began when I was about 10 and went to an anniversary party at a hotel. I went for a wonder around and came accross a gorgeous Scarlet Macaw called Nicky, whom I spent the rest of the night talking to and feeding cheesy biscuits to. Several years later I met pearl, the Umbrella Cockatoo and my fascination with parrots flared up again. I read everything I could about parrots and visited every web site on the Internet (almost). Now, I am the very proud owner (or possibly the pet human of) a Congo African Grey called Tikki who I adore! He lives with me in Bournemouth, England, and is spoilt rotten! |
