We purchased our 1998 Bounder 34V in April of 1998.  We had never owned an RV and had little idea of what we were doing.  We were both still working but spent many weekends attending various motor home rally events to learn everything we could about the "care and feeding" of our motor home and about traveling and living in it.  Sitting around the campfire with other RVers and attending rallies was the best way to find out "what we didn't know we didn't know."

In June of 2000 Mary retired from teaching and in November Tom retired from his position of Chief Financial Officer of Century Equipment, a Toro and Club Car Distributor in Toledo, Ohio.

We left Northwest Ohio Thanksgiving Day, 2000 and have been travelling almost full-time since then.  We have passed through Ohio many times to visit friends and family and in June, 2002 stayed long enough to empty out our home which had been sold.  During the past several winters we decided to sit still long enough to enjoy a regular schedule of golf and tennis for a few months at the Palm Creek Golf and RV Resort in Casa Grande, Arizona.

Deciding that we are enjoying life as "full-timers", but looking for a little more room and a little more "power," in August of 2003 we took delivery of a 2004 Dutch Star Diesel Pusher, model 4015.  We continue our quest to "follow the sun" and "see the U.S.A."

As of  October,2008 these are the states and provinces in which we have spent at least one night since our full-time RV travels began in November, 2000.
