As of November 1, 2002, our new "temporary" home at
Palm Creek Golf and RV Resort
in Casa Grande, Arizona
The
main gate at Palm Creek is attended 24 hours a day.
The
golf course in the resort is an 18 hole "executive" course. There are
other courses nearby.
There
are 4 tennis courts (with plans to add 4 more).
There
are 5 buildings at the activity center with card and craft
rooms, artist workshops, fitness center, laundry, mail
room, offices and a ballroom.
This
is the larger of two pools. They have exercise classes and water
volleyball here. The small canopy on the left is over the "spa
pool." There are several "satellite" buildings around the outer edges of
the park with more laundries, pools and mailboxes.
Here
we are at Space #47 (out of about 2000 spaces) on Fairy Duster Drive at the
corner of Desert Willow. We're about 300 yds. from the activity center.
The park was less than 25% occupied when we arrived, but we'd had a choice of
only 3 vacant reservations when we made ours last June.
