Final Fantasy IX Boss Strategies and Tips

Boss : Baku Strength: None Weakness: None Have everybody attack him and make sure Zidame or Cinna steal from him. You might want to take some of his potions and if you're lucky, an Iron Sword

Boss: Baku Fight 2 Strength: None Weakness: None Steal and Attack Bake, now he has Hi-Potions you can take. If Zidane's health gets low, use potions. It should be a cakewalk.

Boss: Evil Forest Plant Master Strength: None Weakness: Fire Steal: Iron Helm, Eye Drops    Have Stenier use fire sword and Vivi use fire. Use Zidane to steal and attack. Use eyedrops when he casts the spell which causes darkness on you.

Boss: Black Waltz 1 and Sealion Strength: Ice and Water Weakness: Fire Steal: Ether, Silk Shirt, Mythril Dagger    First take out BW1 or he will cure Sealion. when you go into a trance, use your strongest Dyne attack on Sealion. If you have a chance, steal.

Boss: Black Waltz 2 Strength: None Weakness: It's best to use ice magic Steal: Steepled Hat, Leather Plate    Have Vivi and Steiner use Blizzaga. Use dagger for curing and Zidane to attack and steal. If you use any toher magic against him, he will counter-attack.

Boss: Black Waltz 3 Strength: None Weakness: None Steal: Silver Gloves, Linen Cuirass.    Have Vivi and Steiner use Thunder spells. Zidabe should attack, steal, and cure the party with potions when needed

Boss: Master Gizamaluke Strength: Water Weakness: Thunder Steal: Magus Hat, Ice Staff, Elixir    Use Zidane to steal and attack, if he trances, use Soul Blade. Have Vivi cast Thunder. Use Freya's jump skill, and use Quina for healing.

Boss: Beatrix Strength: Can't be defeated Weakness: None Steal: Chain plate, Phoenix Down    You CANNOT defeat her no matter what. Keep fighting untill she kills you. She has sweet items, make sure Zidane steals them.

Boss: Black Waltz 3 Fight 2 Strength: None Weakness: None Steal: Lightning Staff    Have Steiner attack, make Dagger cast protect and Cure. Marcus should attack and steal.

Boss: Ralvurahava Strength: Defense Ball Weakness: None    Use Dagger as your healer. Steiner and Marcus should attack. When the big snake rolls up into a ball, you cannot hurt him. When this happens, steal from him and cure your party.
