The Lebanese wanna-be Psycho from Toledo, whilst no Cary Grant, caught the eye of many...and not just because of his wardrobe!
Lavern Espesito
Mentioned in Springtime and various episodes after that. A childhood friend of Klinger turned into a childhood sweetheart of Klinger, and then became his wife (Springtime). When they were kids, they used to steal together. After a year or so, she writes to him saying she found someone else…Morty the butcher. They then get a divorce. She later writes in ‘Your Retention Please’ that she is getting remarried…to Klinger’s best buddy. He gets over that and moves on. Both are from Toledo and so we expect her to be tough, but cute.

Soon-Lee Han
Played by:
Rosalind Chao
The young Korean who was accused of shooting a solider, was brought to camp for interrogation. Soon-Lee was upset because she was innocent and had been separated from her parents. Once found innocent, her search continued with Klinger’s help but found nothing. The two soon fell in love, but Soon-Lee fled, not wanting to lose him too. He chased after her, brought her back and by using army channels (how helpful!) tried to locate them. Towards the end, he proposed and after deciding to stay IN Korea to look for her family, she accepted. They were married on the day he camp said goodbye, and drove off in an oxen cart, ready to find her family, so they could start a new life in America.

Debbie
Played by:
Kit McDonough Occupation: 8063rd Nurse
Seen in: ‘Ain’t love grand,’ Whilst having a drink at Rosie’s, Debbie spotted Klinger (and his dress) and was soon interested. Finding him incredibly…interesting the pair soon started an odd relationship (whoever finds army class A uniforms ‘kinky’ IS odd). Over the moon that he had found someone like Debbie, Klinger talked future…which Debbie didn’t have in her plans. The two made the best of it and moved on.
