The boy from Iowa was quite a little heartbreaker. Naive and innocent? I think not!
Patty Haven
Played by:
Marylin Jones Occupation: Nurse
On his way back to the 4077th, Radar’s plane was delayed…for the better. There in the waiting area he met Patty, a cute redhead nurse who was on her way home to Missouri, not too far from where he lived! He became smitten and didn’t want to leave her. When his replacement flight finally came he was bitter about it, but hoped to see her when he got home.

Lt Linda Nugent
Played By:
Peggy Lee Brennan Occupation: Nurse
Radar was instantly attracted to her but didn’t know how to ask her if she was interested. Getting little useful help from Hawkeye and in desperation Charles, he just went for it with success! ‘Why are they all staring at us’ ‘It’s because I’m with the prettiest girl in camp.’ – AWWW!

Louise Anderson
Played By:
Kelly Jean Peters Occupation: Nurse
Seen in ‘Love Story.’ To get over the blues of his fiancée’s break-up, Radar found an interest in a new nurse. This nurse was into Classical Music, Classic books and everything high class in a BIIIG way. Radar went to Hawkeye with help, who ‘trained’ him to her tastes. And so began the ever classic ‘I’m
more partial to the fugue,’ ‘That’s highly significant’ and the classically classic ‘Ahhh Bach!’ Nothing much happened and she left.
Louise Simmons
Played By:
Mary Kay Place Occupation: Nurse
Seen in ‘Springtime.’ (There’s a common love with the name Louise.) When she arrived, Louise was seen in Parka and hood – due to the cold. Once Spring hit, she was into…less confining attire, which of course our Lil’ Radar noticed. Discovering a poetry book, her liking for poetry and seeking help from Uncle Trapper and Aunt Hawkeye, Radar set out to woo her…AND WON! To end a perfect day, his voice deepened, face cleared up and ‘I think I’ve been slaked!’
Nurse Baker (#3)
Played By: Occupation: Nurse
Seen in 'Lt O'Reilly', this little nurse's heart was taken by our lil hero. She liked him because of his lower status and the underdog way he was. When Radar was promoted, she found little interest in him. Once demoted, she saw in him what she saw before. Radar enjoyed her kisses...and that towel!

Love Story fiancée
Radar was engaged before he went to Korea. Being the nice Iowa girl she was, sent him a Dear John letter via record, saying that she was going to marry Radar’s best friend Elroy. Radar was really cut up about it until he finds a distraction in Louise Anderson
