| This is my Dan Blackburn Road replica jersey, which I wore to the 11/13/2001 Rangers vs. Flyers game. After the game, I went out to where the players exit, and who should be the first one out (other than Mets pitcher Al Leiter) than Dan Blackburn. I quickly approached him and asked him to sign my jersey, being sure to mention that it was his jersey. While he was signing it, which seriously took him about a minute to do because of how careful he was being, he said that it was the first jersey of his he had seen and jokingly said that he thought he had the only one. After that, I asked him if I could get a picture with him, and he obliged. It was truly an awesome experience. |
