After the Game - I didn't bother bringing my "road journal" with me for this one because it wasn't really much of a road journal last time.  I will definitely bring it for the Washington, DC and Boston trips though, because I'm sure at least a few interesting things will happen along the way there.  Anyway, here's what I put in my "after the game" write-up:

Would you believe Martin Brodeur is 6-7-4 when I see him play?  The Devils again looked bad in a 4-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.  It was a sellout crowd of 19,040 to watch a special ceremony for Ken Daneyko.  All fans received a Daneyko bobblehead upon exit.  Lightning backstop John Grahame made 18 saves for the win, allowing only one goal to Scott Gomez.  The Lightning scored 4 goals on 37 shots, with goals by Martin St. Louis, Cory Stillman, 500-goal scorer Dave Andreychuk and Frederik "Cool" Modin.  There was a 10 minute delay in the start of the second period due to a power surge.  My next tour stop is January 11, 2004 in Washington, DC...followed by Boston, MA on January 12.

NOTE: For those of you curious about where I sat considering what happened last game, there was no way I could move down since it was a sellout, so I was more than content with sitting in my actual seats, 10 rows up in the corner, in the upper level.  The seats weren't that bad at all, although for a face value of $52 they might be a little pricey.
