This is a print of another aircraft on exhibit at the San Diego Aerospace Museum. The C-47 was the military version of the famed civilian C-3 aircraft that made aviation history as one of the most popular passenger planes during the 1930s. Surprisingly, some of these old aircraft are still in service today, particularly in some parts of Asia. I saw one parked at Guam International Airport in 1980.
