| The year is 1999. Masset is in his second fed of his career, the NCW. Masset is challenged to a tag team match by the tag team champions. That is, if Masset can find a partner. A couple people offered to be that partner, probably because it meant a Tag team title shot for them. However, Masset went with a man who dominated the upper-card. The European Champion known as "The Wonder" Bruce. They went on to defeat the Tag Team champions in an upset, giving Masset his first Tag Team title ever, and started a friendship that lasts to this day. When they were finally defeated for the titles long after, Bruce decided to hang up his wrestling boots for good, for old age finally caught up to him (He was 36...go figure). However, wanting to see Masset do well in his career, Bruce chose to become Masset's manager. And ever since then, he's been with Masset through it all. I love happy endings! |
