the mass transit
Hall of Justice
I mean, information about past shows. And how to get them.
Our first show was a smashing sucess. Omaha poet and all-around fun guy Matt Mason dropped by the studio to read some poetry and talk about cheese.
We played skits from from the Mass Transit players - including "Snow Day," which you can check out at
Singlereel, and "Straight Talk." Later we let loose with the first episode of Millard Avenue, a twisted view on West Omaha with acting by puppets.
Episode 2 features Mass Transit's first investigative venture, a look into the subterranean culture of "Geek Wrestling."
A live performance, and an interview with Omaha rockers
The Movies got center stage, while the gang from Millard Avenue backed it all up.
Episode 3 featured poet, professor and publisher
JV Brummels and skit called "Hello" (also on Singlereel.) Plus, the Millard Avenue gang caught hell when they ventured across the river and into Council Bluffs. Watch out Jacques! Oh and We played a tape recorded by Satan.
Live music from the Lincoln band
Skyfive dominated the action of Episode 4, "Attack of the Stunt Doubles." The Mass Transit Players countered with their mock band "The Erotic Foot Soldiers" in a hilarious bit. The Millard Avenue folks realized they were in dream, not Council Bluffs.
