| So, I was supposed to check out Surviving Christmas on Friday, but we ended up watching the Incredibles instead. I was going to rent this when it was released, but oh well. Pixar does it again. The movie is great. The story is about a family of superheroes. Mr.Incredible used to be the best and most recognizable hero in the world, but after some lawsuits, he was forced to join the witness protection program and stop using his powers. So now he lives a normal life with his family. The problem is, he is bored with is new life. His desk job is boring and doesnt have the same excitement of being a superhero. So one day, he gets a phone call from someone named Mirage. Mirage asks him to some undercover work, and Mr.Incredible doesn't hesitate to take the job. At first, hes a little rusty with his powers. And even his suit is giving him problems since he put on a little weight (this scene is jokes). Eventually, he gets back into things and finds out that he was lured into a trap by Sindrome, a supervillain. He imprisons Mr.Incredible. Soon, its up to his family to save him so they go off on a rescue mission. HIs wife is Elastigirl, and she can stretch herself. His daughter is Violet who can turn invisible. And then theres his two sons, Dash who has the power of speed, and Jack the baby who doesn't have a power (at first). Oh and theres Mr.Incredible's friend Frozone. He controls ice. I've always liked Pixar's movies, they are always entertaining and this is no different. The Incredibles is a hilarious movie and is easily in the top 10 superhero movies of all time, not to mention top CGI movies of all time. It has everything - action, comedy, suspense. Its the total package. There are some scenes that drag on though. Usually when they're about to fight someone, they talk for a while to get into the mood. Its kinda like Dragonball Z. When lets say Goku and Cell are about to fight, they talk and talk, then once they're finally going to get it on, the episode is over. Its the same here...expect shorter of course. The voice acting is awesome. Couldn't have gotten a better cast. I don't any of the names that well though. The past Pixar movies had a few big names like Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Billy Crystal, etc. This one the only one that I really knew was Samuel L. Jackson. I recognized his voice right away. But anyway, that doesnt mean they sucked. Like I said, it was great voice acting. Pixar knows what they need to bring their characters to life, and they did a good job once again. In the end, Incredibles is a great movie for everyone. It has alot more action than usual Pixar and Disney movies, so it'll be able to entertain you. I'll be picking this up on DVD for sure. If you haven't checked out Incredibles, do it now! Its worth the money and besides, would you rather see Alfie? I don't think so. The Incredibles is...incredible. |

| There was a lot of hype about this film. Chucky is a great entertainer and we all want to pay to see him. First their was Child's Play that was a really good movie, then we see Child's Play 2 which was also a good movie, then came part 3 which was ok. Then Bride Of Chucky came out which pretty much screwed everything, but it was a funny movie. Then Don Mancinni who is the Chucky creator of chucky wants to make the 5th instalment, she he writes it and directs it for the first time. Now with this guy here, we're all expecting he's going to hit this one out of the park. Boy are we wrong. Seed of Chucky, which has a horrible plot, is about Glen (A Doll), who at the beginning of the movie is killing a family, and then he wakes up and realizes that it's a dream and he's treated like a dummy. He wonder's who his real parents are, then he watches TV and sees two dolls Chucky and Tiffany (Who are in a movie) and realized that those are his parents. So Glen goes to Hollywood and finds them and put the spell on them and Chucky and Tiffany come to life. Then they start killing people and Glen wonders why his parents are killing people. Then they meet Jennifer Tilly and Tiffany wants to get in her body and have a kid. Chucky on the other hand will be Red Man. Glen will be the child. So murderous happenings occur and stupid ness, Chucky hardly kills any one Glen wonders why his parents are bad and a dumb plot hits. That's pretty much what the movie is about, it has a stupid plot. The plot for this could have been them having Glen and him becoming an insane killer and have this family of dolls going out and killing people. Then having Chucky realize that he does not want to be human anymore, he wants to be a killer doll. So they can go out and kill people and entertain us. But no, it has to be stupid and unfunny. The only funny things in this movie are when they move or kiss. The rest is all inside jokes that Don Mancinni and Jennifer Tilly only seem to be getting. This was a huge disappointment and a forgettable one. They could have done so much more with this movie and be it out of the park. But they had to make it stupid and complicated. I am very disappointed with the outcome and the ending gets confusing and opening up for a sequel. So the movie gets a four. It's not a piece of shit movie, it's a movie we should watch and have our own opinions on it. But don't watch this one in theatres. Just rent it when it comes out and have your own opinion. I wont buy this movie, but if they have a box set coming out for Chucky then I will get the Box Set. Seed Of Chucky is a disappointment and money down the drain. It has its ups but just not enough ups to make this a good film. Consider this a rental. |

| After The Sunset is about a Max who is a jewel thief and his wife who pretty much just steal diamonds and make a living out of it. Their last score was a success and they beat out Agent Stan Lee and left him looking like a fool. Now Stan and his wife Lola are living in paradise and living the retired life early. Then all of a sudden Stan appears and tell them theirs a crystal in the island their in and he thinks Max is going to steal it and Max just denies it. Then a game of Cat and Mouse happens with the two and the fireworks start. The movie opens up with Max and Lola pulling their last heist and Stan trying to catch them. It's all out entertaining and makes us routing for the bad guy. Then Max and Lola hang the coats and move of the Paradise. It's a beautiful setting making us all want to be there. Stan bugs Max all the time and Max gets frustrated but at the same time Max wants that last crystal. So they try to set each other up all the time and get to know each other. It's a fun movie to watch and highly enjoyable. The acting in After The Sunset was pretty good and Director Brett Ratner did a good job showing off the setting of the beautiful Paradise City. The movie has a lot of funny moments they we'll all laugh about and keep us entertained how Max is going to catch that crystal and how Stan is going to catch them. This is not the type of movie that has to be a long review. I'm just going to say it's a fun movie to see and you'll like it in the end. It's somewhat of a forgettable film and if you miss it in theatres its all good. It's a perfect Saturday night movie if your not doing anything and you want to go to the theatre's and it's a perfect movie to rent on a Saturday night. I'll buy this movie when it's cheap on DVD and if there is nothing else to buy on DVD for the month. But After The Sunset is a movie we should watch on a Saturday and enjoy a 90-minute movie. There has not been a movie like this for a while so I suggest you see it. I give it an 8 overall. |

| I Expected to see Christmas With The Kranks and laugh my ass off. But it wasn't as funny as one would think. Their was like 2/3 laugh out scenes but that was about it. But in the end, Christmas With The Kranks was a good movie to see. The character's were really good and the acting was good, the characters really loved the spirit of Christmas and got really ticker when they heard one of them will be skipping christmas. Tim Allen is just the perfect actor for a Christmas movie. Now i got 3 movies to see with him every year. I hope he has another one. Then we got Jamie Lee Curtis who plays a great mom and she makes great chemistry with TiM Allen. Then we got Dan Akroyd in it who just has great chemistry with them. The movie was all about Christmas and Character chemistry and they delivered. It's not as funny as one would think, but it made me feel good after and it was a great way to start the Christmas cheer. I give this a 7 out of 10. You don't really need to see this in theater's ut since it wont be out on DVD untill next year, you should go see this on a Saturday night or during the day with your family and enjoy it to start the Holiday cheer. I will buy it on DVD, it's a movie ill be able to see every year, so go see it. It's got good heart. |

| I was not really hyped about this movie; I was just going to rent it. So then it came #1 then I go interested, but I still wait for the DVD. Then it came #1 again and I got more interested. But I was still going to wait. Now it will probably become #1 again this weekend so now I'm more interested. So I was going to see Alexander but I did not fee like it, so ill catch it on DVD or if I have time ill see it in theatre's. So I saw this instead and it was a really good movie. It's about a family of treasure hunters, Benjamin (Cage) is all grown up and he is looking for the treasure with all his friends, he has these clues and he figures that t he best clue is behind the Declaration of Independence. But his other two friends double cross him and now they want to steal the Declaration and find the treasure. Now Ben and his friends are going to stop them by stealing it themselves. They steal it and a game of cats and dogs occurs. They bad guys chase Ben and his friends and they keep finding clues to this treasure. It's a basic cool plot that works and Cage's role was perfect. This movie was really entertaining, I saw it at the Drive In and it was fun to watch. The first 15 minutes were a bit off then it got better. The action was all out good and you keep guessing what's happening next and I was very surprised about it. The movie had its jokes and great action. It's a Jerry Bruckheimer film so what do you expect. This movie is probably the best movie you should see right now until Ocean's Twelve comes out. There is not much of a selection out right now, but this one will deliver. I will most likely buy this one on DVD. |
