| The Movie: This movie was pretty jokes, I thought this movie was going to bomb and suck. I thought the oppostie, this was the biggest comedy of the year Box Office Wise and Movie wise. The movie is about Peter who owns a local gym with his buddied, he finds out that he hasnt paid the bills for the gym and it will be bought out by White Goodman who owns a bigger and better gym next door. So Peter has no choice but to close it, but then his friends see t hat they can get $50 000 if they win a Dodgeball tournament. They all get in and White's gym next door wants in the dodgeball tournament. It's an all out war between the two gyms, with both sides wanting to win badly. It's your simple basic plot that we all understand and the jokes are hillarious. With Stiller and Vaughn in the movie, it makes it so funny. I laughed and I cried while watching this movie and I bet you guys will laugh your asses off to. It's a short movie that you can watch over and over. Nuff Said. The Disc: Is a dodgeball which looks cool and the packaging is nice with a slip case and their is a chapter page. 20th Century Fox makes some good Cases. The video is nicely done for a comedy and the audio is just right. 20th Century Fox did a great job on this one. The Features: Now I'm surprised 20th Century Fox put features in this DVD, they didnt put much. They have a fair share of Extra's in this one, like 4 featurettes and other crap, but they could have added more like a dodgeball g ame or something. This DVD could have been a 10 but it get's an 8. Its got good extra's and their is nothing to complain about. They still could have added more though. Overall: This is a great movie that can be seen over and over. If your a fan of the movie, pick up this DVD and add it to yoru collection because it's a fine DVD. If you have not seen this movie yet then go rent it at Block Buster and see for yourself. If you liked it, then wait untill it's cheap, if you loved this movie I suggest you pick it up. It's a great stocking stuffer! |

| The Movie: When I reviewed it in July I wasn't to happy with it, but after viewing it for a second time I decided to like it better. I was more focused into it. Jason Bourne wakes up one morning and finds out that someone is after him and trying to kill him. On the other side, Pamela (Joan Allen) thinks that Bourne is part of a crime, but Bourne was framed. So Bourne goes across Europe to find out whats going. It's a good plot that works and the acting is great. This movie is not as good as the first one, reason being because this one had more dialogue then the first one and the action scenes were a way bit to fast and choppy compared to the first. The first one is one you can watch over and over again and this one is a one time thing. Now The Bourne Supremacy is not a bad movie, it's pretty good, this is a movie rental type of movie. I bought this because i'm a DVD freak and i have the first one. The movie has a good running time and it wont bore you out, it will just keep you guessing on what's going happen to Bourne. You wont be talking about this one after like you do in the first one, but this one is just plain OK. The Disc: It's a plain disc that says Bourne Supremacy, pretty crappy. No booklet. The packaging is pretty good. I love the cover art. Now the quality of the movie is not all out great. It's got the documentary type of quality in it, that's what the director was going for, but the quality is ok, it could be better. The audio is pretty good, not as good as the original DVD but it's pretty decent. The audio and video could have been better for this movie. The Features: Their is a lot of features for this movie, but their so short. It looks as if their is a lot but their so short, When the third movie comes out they will come out with a better edition. So they did to this DVD, what they did with the first one. The features are good, but could be longer. The movie does not need all these long features, so you wont be that much dissapointed. Overall: The Bourne Supremacy is an OK movie, not better than the first. If your a fan of the movie then go buy it because the Disc is pretty much worth it. If you havent seen this movie then just rent it, if you like just buy it when i t's cheap. Bourne Supremacy is a rental type of movie and that's about. Don't be expecting as good as the first, let's hope the third one does the job right. |

| The Movie: The opening credits got to me, it started with the flashback. Then it went to the next scene and it got the movie starting. So I sat back and watched. Throughout the whole movie I did not look at the watch once. I went to my buddy Ruben and said, “Yo, this is crazy” and he agreed. The movie had incredible effects, the robots looked so awesome and real and on of the robots had baby blue eyes and it was so cool. The action in it was nothing I have seen before and the performances were great. Obviously they wont get Oscars but it gets a Sweet award. The storyline got confusing at times and I kept asking my other friend what is happening. In this movie you got to listen and just feel the movie. When the movie comes to an end you will understand it and discuss it. The film had a good plot and kept me thinking of what is going to happen next. The movie had lots of jokes in it too. The theatre laughed and so did I and I also gave clapping ovations throughout the movie. The film was directed perfectly and the music was great. It went with the movie and the action scenes. After I saw the movie I kept talking about it because it was so great. This is one very great true popcorn flick and I recommend everyone who is reading this right now to see it NOW! Or whenever you’re free. Don’t be stupid and download it because movies just suck watching it in shitty quality. It’s worth 5-15 bucks to watch it. The movie is 1 hour and 45 minutes without credits. I don’t think there is nothing after the credits so you can leave when the credits roll. Watch this with your crew. So go see this movie because it is a HIT! The only slight little negative part was the movie could really confuse somebody, but that is a little tiny thing. If you don’t see this movie this week, see it next week, if you don’t see it, see it the week after. You also see Will’s ass, so ladies you got a treat. Great Action, Great Comedy, and Great Feeling. Check out I, Robot! The Disc: Now the Disc is also well done too, the audio mix is nice since it's DTS. If you watch this on the Theater system then you will get the full effect. The Sound sound is great. The video is great aswell. It's perfectly well done and this movie so far is doing a great job. The disc itself, is robotic with the Robot on it stretching his arms and it says I, Robot. A Very nice disc. The packaging is great with a robotic case and it comes with the chapter booklet. It also comes with a clear slipcase that I love. The Packaging and Disc is excellent for this one. The Features: Now this is were the Disc dies. Their is an audo commentary, an Inside Look, a trailer for Arrested Development, a Still Galley and one featurette. So basically their is no features. This is just like The Day After Tomorrow DVD. Everything is great except with no features. For a movie that did so well, it's featureless, their could be so much! Screw 20th Century Fox. Overall: I,Robot is an awsome movie that is A Must Own. It's worth the money to buy and worth a rental. The disc is great and the movie is great. It's got to be in your DVD library. If your not a features person then buy this right away, I liked the movie a lot so I needed to buy it quicktimes, if your a features person then rent this one and wait for the new edition of this which will probably be out in a year or two. I, Robot is great to own, pick it up or else wait for the new edition. It's your call! |

| The Movie: The trailer for this movie is not that great and I know that this will not attract some people, I did attract me though because it has Tom Cruise as the villain and in all grey and it looked pretty interesting and the people who will see it had the same thoughts as me.Collateral begins with getting to know Max and Vincent. Max is you mannered Cabdriver who is saving up to own his own limo business and Vincent is out killing people and being bad. He is basically a contract killer for a bunch of Cubans. After that we get to know Max more when he drives people around and we understand the type of person he is. After that Vincent and Max meet and Max drives Vince around. They get off good and become good friends until Vincent makes a stop and kills somebody. Max becomes scared and now all hell breaks lose and Vincent keeps him hostage and pays him to drive around to the destinations of the people Vincent has to kill. Throughout the rest of the movie Max drives him to these places and tries to escape after every murder. Vincent ends up catching him all the time and the movie gets interesting. The action is great in this movie and we get good shooting scenes, the camera angles are excellent and the acting is perfect. Tom Cruise was a kick ass villain and he just stole the show. Jamix Foxx was shockingly good too. I would have never thought this guy could act but he proved it in this movie. Mark Ruffalo and Jada-Pinkett are also good in this movie. He actors fitted into their character's well and it kept me entertained. The dialogue in this movie was also informative and I did not fall asleep or look at my watch. Director Michael Mann has done an amazing job in this movie and I bet next week this movie wont drop 50% because it was that DAM good. There are some boring parts in the movie, but I didn't find them. My girlfriend thought some parts were boring but she said it was ok. As for me I thought this movie was amazing and pretty much all you males will like this one. The Disc: The first disc is Tom Cruise and the second disc is Foxx. Pretty Neat discs and the packaging is nice. No insert though which sucks. It takes points away. Now the first disc is nice and the quality is excellent as well as the sounds. Three different Sound Options. It's amazing how DVD's work. The disc is Top Notch! Great effect on a small or big screen. The Features: Now I did not see the point of having two Disc's. Their are many features in the second disc, the first feature runs 40 minutes long and the rest are 2 minute things. Pretty sad. But this movie doesnt need features. It's got the 40 minute one and that's all we need. Bloopers would have nice but oh well, the movie got good enough features which make this disc look good. Overall: Collateral is an awsome movie that is a MUST SEE, you could rent it if you want but then your just going to end up buying it after you see it. The Disc is amazing and the features a pretty good for this type of movie. It's worth the money and makes a perfect stocking stuffer. Pick this one up fast. |

| The Movie: This movie has been getting alot of praise. I was going to watch this after seeing the trailer, but it was going to be a rental. But after hearing how good it was, I wanted to see it a bit more. Its alright, but definitely not as good as people are saying it is. The story is about a guy named Shaun who's laid back and really doesn't have any goals. He works at some electronics store and then goes home and chills with his buddy Ed, who is also lazy. If he's not home, then he goes out to the local bar with Ed and his girlfriend. His girlfriend is starting to get tired of Shaun not moving on with his life. One day, when Shaun forgets to make a reservation at a fancy restaurant for his girlfriend, she finally dumps him. He gets so bummed out and gets drunk that he doesn't bother watching the news to see that a spaceship has landed in England. So the next morning, he finds some lady in his backyard who is all deformed and he finally realizes what she is, so the adventure begins. Its a funny movie, but since its a UK flick, there are some jokes that we won't understand. And this movie isn't all about the comedy either, this is a hardcore horror flick too. Some scenes in here and are nasty, so when you watch this don't expect a full-on comedy. This is a horror movie trying to be a comedy, not the other way around. The Disc: An alright transfer. The video is pretty good. It comes off crisp no matter what TV you're viewing it on, so thats good. The audio takes a hit though. Sometimes you can't hear anything so you'll have to turn up the volume. I hate that. And it sucks too since there are some scenes (highway scene) that would be good for some high quality sound. Oh well, what can ya do. The Features: Features are alright here. You get two commentaries. One by the director and Simon Pegg together, and the other is with Simon Pegg and the restof the cast. They try to be funny, but again, its UK stuff so you don't know what the hell they're talking about sometimes. What the hell is a 'bollock hammering?' There are casting tapes, showing the cast during their auditions for the movie. Under Raw Meat is Simon Pegg's diary on set of the movie. There are 14 deleted scenes with optional commentary. They are all pretty short. Outtakes are funny as usual. Plotholes talks about the plotholes in the movie, which is funny because they actually admit the movie has them. There is a Zombie Gallery, and SFX comparison where they discuss the effects, and a whole lot more. Pretty good stuff on here considering this is an indie flick. Overall: Shaun of the Dead is hit or miss for some people. Some of you (like me) might tihnk this is a pure comedy spoof like Scary Movie, but it isn't. This is an actualy horror movie, so be warned. I liked it and I'm glad its part of my library, so give it a rent before you blow your cash on it. |
