| The eyes open. The threat dissolves. What is left but to explore. I know it's been done before. 'Girl turns into sub after meeting Dominant man', etc. My hope is to bring a new perspective to the genre. Not one relying on the infliction of pain as its sole source of motivation, but rather one of 'choice'. To my way of thinking, and one that is shared by many I might add... The basis on which one may call oneself a 'submissive', is based greatly, but perhaps not solely, on her 'choice' to be known as such. Submissives come in all shapes and sizes, and with all kinds of ideas about what they think they need and want. But what it comes down to, in the end, is that a sub can choose. And it is a choice that only the submissive can make. Why would one choose? 'That' is what I hope to shed light on. New beginnings. A new way of doing, of seeing, and of acting. Dominique feared her one chance had slipped through her fingers, but fate lent a hand. Andrew thought he might never see her again, but he was wrong. A tale told from both sides. This is romantic dominance and submission. Reader comment: "It is not often that i find myself totally consumed by the need to keep reading, not to blink nor take a breath in case i miss a word, a sigh, a thought, a phrase. i give thanks to You for rekindling my belief and the courage it takes in ultimately being me..." ~ cinderella |
