Merits and Flaws

Church Rank - Church Rank (1-9) is considered mortal Status, specifically within the Church. 1-3 points of this merit constitutes a ranking of a Friar or Abbot, 4-6 points of this merit constitute a rank of Bishop and 7 or more points is equivalent to an Archbishop. 9 points is the maximum a character can take in this Merit. Characters with this merit may buy the Clergy Packages for Abilities. Ignoring Church Rank is like spiting in the face of a priest.

Guild Rank - Guild Rank (1-9) is Mortal Status. Specifically within the Guilds. 1-3 points of this Merit constitute a character having a rank of a Foreman, 4-6 points of this Merit constitute a rank of Lieutenant and 7 or more points in this merit is equivalent to an Master. 9 points is the maximum a character can take in this Merit. Every three levels of this Merit gives the character 1 Guild Influence trait. Ignoring Guild Rank is likely to gain the animosity of others within the guilds. Which could have any number of ramifications.

Iron Will - This Merit is a 5 point Merit instead of a 3 point Merit.

Luck - This Merit is banned in ToD games.

Misplaced Heart - This Merit is banned in ToD games.

Noble Rank - Noble Rank (1-9) is Mortal Status. Specifically within the Nobility. 1-3 points of this merit constitute a character having the rank of a Knight or Lord (Lady), 4-6 points of this merit constitute a rank of Baron or Count(Countess) and 7 or more points in Noble Rank is equivalent to an Duke (Duchess) or King. 9 points is the maximum a character can take in this Merit. Characters with this Merit can buy the Nobility Packages for Abilities. Ignoring Noble Rank is like spiting in the face of a noble. Pleade read this website on the French Nobility.

Pawn - This Merit is banned in ToD games.

True Faith - This merit is a 7 point Merit for Mortals and is not available to Vampires. This merit could be lost if a mortal with it is embraced. A test will be preformed after the embrace to see if the vampire is able to "keep the Faith".

Unbondable - This Merit is banned in ToD games.
