Ritual Library

Characters that begin the game with Thaumaturgy or Necromancy begin the game with an equivalent level ritual for each level of Thaumaturgy or Necromancy. Learning additional rituals after character creation requires a teacher, a tome containing the ritual or access to the ritual using Occult Influence. Once the ritual is aquired an expenditure of experience points must be made.

Basic rituals cost 1 experience point to learn, Intermediate rituals cost 2 experience points to learn, and Advanced rituals cost 3 experience points to learn. Characters in good standing with the clan (Assamite, Setite, Tremere, Tzimisce) automatically have access to any (common) ritual.

This rule also applies to all Clans who have special restricted Rituals such as Clan Assamite and the Giovanni. For a list of additional available Necromantic Rituals visit the Necromancy Library.
