Super Mario RPG
One of the best RPG game ever feature's the most shocking thing ever seen... Bowser helping Mario. Yes, in this game, Bowser helps Mario fight the evil Smithy. But it's just to get his castle back, so... y'know.
Story - 8/10

Bowser does the usual kidnap the princess, with Mario coming soon after. But while Mario and Bowser are battling, a giant sword comes crashing down on Bowser's Castle, causing Mario, Bowser and Peach to fly in different directions of the Kingdom! Now, Mario has to find Peach, restore Star Road, and discover who is behind everything! I would have given this a higher mark, if it didn't make Bowser look like a fool.

Graphics - 10/10

Best graphics on the SNES! No doubt about it! It's more 3-D than 2-D, on a 16-bit system! There are hardly any flaws! They did a very impressive job on this!

Music - 9/10

Excellent music! The battle theme and boss battles are my favourites! They have that old Mario charm, with a hint of RPG-ness to it! The battle theme from this game was used in Paper Mario, only remixed. And of course, the classic Mario theme returns!

Items - 7/10

Two items really got my interest: Pick Me Up and Rock Candy. The Pick Me Up revives a fainted party member (even Mario) and Rock Candy does 200 damage to every enemy in battle! The other items are alright, but nothing really out of the ordinary.

Characters - 9/10

Youj ust gotta love Geno and Mallow! Although Geno isn't is real name, he is a spirit that took over a doll named Geno. Mallow is a puffy cloud who thought he was a tadpole, until he learned his real parents were somewhere else. We are also introduced to the Chancellor, who is like the King of the Mushrom Kingdom, and serves as a fatherly figure for Peach. While it hasn't been confirmed if he is Peach's father, most people consider him that. There are many other characters introduced, each unique in their own little way.

Humor 6/10

There aren't many humorous parts in the game, but some parts are really funny! For example, when Mario first talks to the Chancellor, he keeps calling Mario back as he walks away, causing him to fall down numberous times. It's even funnier when he falls down the stairs! Too bad King Dad wasn't around to see that.

Fun Factor - 9/10

This is a great game for everyone! Weither you just like Mario or RPGs, you'll love this game! It's an added bonus if you like both! It has an OK replay value, but it's not anything to be excited over. But the greatness of this game makes up for that!
